“Personal Data Protection Code” Pursuant to art. 13 (Notification) of Italian Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, we inform you that the company Residenza Alberghiera San Raffaele S.r.l. handles the personal data of clients, suppliers and persons who voluntarily provide their personal data (by telephone, fax or email) to the commercial office or the company management. In accordance with the legal requirements, the company guarantees that the data will be handled in full compliance with the rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity of the persons concerned, in particular with regard to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to the protection of personal data. Purposes of the personal data handling: • To comply with legal requirements, regulations, EU provisions, and civil and tax laws. • To comply with any contractual requirements relating to the person concerned. • To carry out economic procedures in the company, such as producing in-house statistics and personal information records, issuing invoices and keeping the accounts for clients and suppliers. • To do commercial work, such as sending commercial information and advertising material (by post, fax and email) and carrying out marketing activities and market research. • To protect credit and manage debt. • To comply with the obligation to provide the local council, public bodies and public authorities with information about the people staying in the hotel, in accordance with the Italian Consolidated Act of Public Safety Laws. In order to achieve the abovementioned purposes, if necessary your personal data will be provided to: • Public administration bodies and authorities, when required by law. • Credit institutions that our company uses for credit/debt management. • Any other public and/or private natural and/or legal persons (legal, administration or tax advisory firms, judicial offices, chambers of commerce, etc.), if providing the data proves useful or necessary in order to do our work in accordance with the aims and means listed above. Personal data handled by our company will not be passed on to third parties. The data may be handled with or without electronic and/or automatic means. The data handling will include all of the procedures that are necessary and provided for by art. 4, section 1, letter A of Italian Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003 (any procedure or series of procedures regarding the collection, recording, organization, storage, processing, alteration, selection, extraction, comparison, utilization, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, deletion and destruction of data). In any case, all possible precautions will be taken when handling the data in order to guarantee their security and confidentiality. The Privacy Code allows the persons concerned to exercise the rights listed in art. 7. In particular, they have the right to know which personal data the handler has in its possession and to have access to them in an intelligible form. The persons concerned may also ask to be informed of the origins of the data, the purposes of the data handling and the methods used, and the logic applied in the event of handling with the aid of electronic instruments. The persons concerned may also ask for details about the handler, the appointed supervisors, and the figures and types of figures who may be provided with the data or have access to them. The persons concerned have the right to update, correct, supplement, delete, block or render anonymous their data if it is not handled in compliance with the legal requirements. For legitimate purposes, they may also partially or fully oppose the handling of their personal data, if the data are used for commercial purposes, the delivery of advertising material, direct sales, market research or opinion polls. The persons concerned or a person acting on their behalf may exercise the abovementioned rights by sending a written request to the manager of Hotel Rafael, who is its legal representative: Manager of Hotel Rafael, Via Olgettina 60, 20132 Milano, Italy.
